This Privacy Policy explains how “Qkly App Technologies Private Limited” hereinafter referred to as (“Qkly App”, “we”, “our”, “Platform”) collects, uses, stores, processes, and protects personal information of all persons who access or use the Qkly App mobile application, website, and related services, including customers/consumers (“Users”) and registered vendors/service providers (“Service Providers”). This Policy is framed in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and other applicable Indian laws in force.
1. By creating an account, accessing, or using Qkly App, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
2. Qkly App operates as a technology marketplace connecting Users with independent Service Providers across categories such as home services, beauty and personal care, food services, travel/guide services, and property listings. To enable safe and efficient bookings and service fulfillment, Qkly App collects personal information including name, mobile number, email address, address/location for service delivery, device details, IP address, app usage data, booking history, ratings, reviews, communications, and transaction records. For Service Providers, additional KYC information is collected, including Aadhaar, PAN, bank account details, photographs, licenses, ownership/authorization documents (for property listings), and category-specific certifications where applicable.
3. Certain information such as bank details, identity proofs, precise location during bookings, and device identifiers may constitute Sensitive Personal Data under applicable law. Such data is collected only for lawful purposes including identity verification, fraud prevention, payment processing, dispute resolution, platform safety, and regulatory compliance.
4. Information is collected when you register, create a profile, book or accept services, upload documents, communicate through the app, contact support, or interact with the Platform. Qkly App may also collect technical and analytics data through cookies and similar technologies to improve performance, user experience, and security.
5. Qkly App uses personal information to create and manage accounts, enable bookings, share necessary details between Users and Service Providers for service fulfillment, process payments and settlements, verify KYC documents, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, improve services, and comply with legal obligations. Your data is processed based on your consent, contractual necessity, legal compliance, and Qkly APP’s legitimate interest in maintaining a secure marketplace.
6. Qkly App does not sell personal data. Information is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis: between Users and the relevant Service Provider for a booking; with payment gateway partners for processing transactions; with verification partners for KYC checks; with cloud, storage, and analytics providers under confidentiality obligations; and with government or law enforcement authorities when legally required.
7. Service Providers who receive User information through Qkly are contractually bound to use it only for service delivery. They are strictly prohibited from storing, copying, misusing, or contacting Users outside the Platform. Any such misuse may lead to immediate removal and legal action.
8. Qkly App maintains reasonable security practices including encrypted transmission, access controls, secure servers, and monitoring mechanisms to protect data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. While Qkly App follows industry-standard safeguards, no digital system can be guaranteed as completely secure, and users share information at their own risk.
9. Personal data is retained as long as the account remains active and thereafter as required for legal, tax, audit, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution purposes. Upon request for deletion, data may be anonymized or retained in archived form where legally necessary.
10. You have the right to access and correct your personal information, withdraw consent (subject to service limitations), request deletion of your account, and raise concerns regarding data handling. Requests may be made through the support or grievance contact provided in the app.
11. Qkly App may use cookies and analytics tools to maintain sessions, understand usage behavior, and enhance performance. Disabling cookies may affect certain functionalities.
12. Qkly App is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 years, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
13. The Platform may contain links to third-party services. Their privacy practices are independent and not governed by this Policy.
14. In the event of any data incident or breach, Qkly shall take prompt remedial measures and comply with applicable legal requirements, including notifying affected parties where required.
15. Qkly App may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
16. For any privacy-related concerns or grievances, users and Service Providers may contact the designated Grievance Officer through the contact details provided within the Qkly App or website.
Note:- This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts and dispute resolution forum having jurisdiction, as specifically stipulated in the governing agreements, Terms & Conditions, and policy documents of Qkly applicable to its Users and Service Providers, shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy shall be read in conjunction with, and is subject to, the applicable Terms & Conditions, Vendor/Service Provider Agreements, and other policy documents made available on the Qkly app, website, or portal, as amended from time to time.
